Brooklyn-based and Grammy-nominated orchestral collective The Knights return for an evening of innovative, exciting, and elegant orchestrations. The program features steel pan percussionist and fantastic young composer Andy Akiho performing his Fantasy for Steel Pans and Orchestra, Judd Greenstein’s Flute Concerto written for The Knights’ flutist Alex Sopp, works by the French masters Ravel and Fauré, as well as a selection of dances from On the Town in celebration of Leonard Bernstein’s centennial.
