The Akwesasne Freedom School, founded in 1979, immerses Mohawk children in the language, culture, and beliefs of the tribe, preserving a legacy that is on the brink of extinction. Now in the process of building a new school for their teachings, Chosen Family and Underwater Panther Coalition are teaming up to fundraise for the indigenous nation at Griffin House.
