The Grapes of Laughs

The Stissing Center pours equal parts wit and wine at “The Grapes of Laughs,” an evening of comedy paired with curated vintages. Hosting the night is Ophira Eisenberg, a Canadian-born comic, writer, and storyteller best known as the longtime host of NPR’s trivia-meets-comedy show "Ask Me Another." Her sharp, confessional humor and deft crowd work make her a natural emcee, guiding audiences from one glass—and one laugh—to the next. Headlining is Michael Ian Black, a familiar face from the groundbreaking sketch troupe The State, the cult series "Stella," and countless film and TV credits. Black’s comedy, dry and wry, often skewers everyday absurdities while sneaking in flashes of real heart. They’re joined by Rachel Lenihan and Jenny J Rubin, rounding out a bill that marries local hospitality with national-caliber comedy. It’s a night where the pairings aren’t just on the palate, but in the punchlines.
