Do you know of The Fugs? If not, then you should. Byrdcliffe is thrilled to welcome The Fugs to the historic Byrdcliffe Barn in Woodstock. In addition to two live performances, we will also screen the 2025 “Fugs Film!” at the Byrdcliffe Theater on Aug 15. The Fugs music combined rock and roll, humor, and protest that documented the 1960s underground scene and the American counterculture of that decade. The Fugs retired in 1969, but re-formed in the mid-’80s and have performed and recorded regularly ever since.
