The Front Room Gallery Presents: Linda Griggs – "Comfort and Loss" Opening Reception

The Front Room Gallery is pleased to announce Comfort and Loss, a solo exhibition featuring the oil paintings of Linda Griggs. This exhibition will be on view from February 8th through March 2nd, 2025, with an opening reception on Saturday, February 8th, from 4 to 6 PM. Griggs’ work offers a poignant exploration of nostalgia, community, and the everyday, skillfully blending sepia-toned and monochromatic backgrounds with rich, rippling hues of saturated blue. Her unique use of selective varnish highlights visual elements in the paintings with a gloss finish, expanding the visual depth of the painting’s surface.
