The Cortlandt String Quartet - An Evening of Classical Music

The Cortlandt String Quartet will present a unique program of traditional and contemporary classical chamber music featuring an ensemble of virtuoso artists who are well-known both in the US and abroad. Andy Stein, a two-time Grammy award-winning violinist and conductor, will be joined by violist Rachel Evans, violist Sarah Adams, and Argentine cellist Leo Grinhauz, a dedicated tanguero, specializing in combining Latin jazz within the tradition of the string quartet. Their repertoire will include Mozart’s String Quartet K387 in G Ma, as well as some music by Mendelssohn and a premier by Andy Stein.
