The Taconic Antiques Fair turns the historic Columbia County Fairgrounds into a two-day treasure hunt on September 26–27, gathering more than 100 antique and vintage dealers across seven buildings. The range is broad enough to reward both serious collectors and casual browsers: midcentury modern design, country furniture, fine art, folk art, vintage clothing, textiles, rugs, jewelry, and curious objects with stories attached. Visitors can also bring along a mystery from home for a free appraisal.
Antiquing is hungry work, so the fair adds a local food lineup, with coffee and pastries from Repeater Coffee, bagels from DoughCo, sandwiches from Quinnie’s, empanadas from La Ruta del Sol, and fare from Gnome Bistro. Chatham Brewing stocks the beer garden.
Admission covers both days, giving shoppers time to circle back for the object they tried to forget and couldn’t. The fair runs rain or shine, and admission is free for visitors under 18.
