Calligraphy is deeply intertwined with Japanese culture, philosophy, and spirituality. Alongside the tea ceremony and martial arts, it represents a fundamental aesthetic discipline that fosters mindfulness, creativity, and an appreciation for beauty. In this workshop, we will begin with the traditional way of writing Kanji and gradually transition into abstract calligraphy using a more free-flowing cursive script approach. All materials provided.
