Maverick welcomes back STEVE GORN, an acclaimed bansuri flutist known for his deeply resonant sound, described by some listeners as capable of “re‑aligning the cells.” He has performed Indian classical and new American music on the bansuri bamboo flute in concerts and festivals throughout the world. His teachers include the bansuri master Sri Gour Goswami of Kolkata, Pandit Raghunath Seth, and the late Ustad Z. M. Dagar. Gorn is also featured on the Grammy‑winning recording Miho – Journey to the Mountain with the Paul Winter Consort and has performed widely across India at many venues.
