Mark your calendars! Join us for a Star Party supported by astronomers from the Mid-Hudson Astronomical Association! November 8 will be the night of the new moon, the darkest evening of the month. The darker the skies, the brighter the stars!
From 6 to 9 pm, astronomers from MHAA will invite you to enjoy the heavens through their telescopes. Some of the most exciting deep sky objects of the year will be visible including the Great Andromeda Galaxy (M31); the beautiful double cluster in Perseus (C14); the mysterious Veil Nebula (NGC 6960), a supernova remnant; and the stunning ringed-planet, Saturn.
