Spring's Awakening in the Catskills

April means rebirth in the Catskills. Our animal friends emerge, trees bloom and we return to the fields and streams to enjoy nature’s beauty. Trout fishing begins April 1, kicking off springs’ season of abundance bringing life to the Catskills once again. Gary Ampel, our featured artist, was born in New York City and spent his summers in the Catskills, where his award winning works evolved.
