An evening of togetherness and transportive sounds of healing and beauty to move our souls, and make prayers for the great heart of the world. The ensemble will weave us in and out of songs to welcome Shabbat, with stories from each of their traditions, some songs they'll sing for us, and some we'll chant together. With Lala Tamar, international performer of Israeli Moroccan and Brazilian lineages, Yacouba Sissoko, a 70th djeli, a musician and wisdom keeper from Mali, on kora, and Zachi (Rabbi Zach Fredman) on oud.
