Spaghetti Eastern at City Winery Wine Down Wednesday
Spaghetti Eastern Music is the genre-leaping solo project of Hudson Valley-based guitarist/keyboardist Sal Cataldi. Spaghetti Eastern Music marries funky, acid jazz-fueled guitar instrumentals and ambient soundscapes with bare-bones acoustic ballads straight out of the Nick Drake school. Chronogram Magazine called his music “cool, melodic, inspired and transcendent, a wave of sonic warmth and light.” Psychedelic Baby Magazine labels it “the perfect sonic tonic for these troubled times.”
