This exhibition emerges from a live performance of the same title, in which the Ecuadorian-American artist Koyoltzintli and an ensemble of artists play an array of her ceramic instruments that she meticulously reconstructed based on pre-Columbian sonic artifacts. The artist's handmade sound objects and other new works including a video of the live performance of TINKUY, are on view at Scenic Hudson's River Center, Beacon, NY through July 6th.
