Soap & Ceramics - Holiday Workshop

In this four-hour workshop, participants will learn how to make their own cold-process soap and ceramic soap dishes, ideal for holiday gifting. Participants will create a 2 lb block of soap (about 6 - 8 bars) using lye water, natural and essential oils, and natural colorants. The soap will be ready to take home that day. Participants will also learn how to make their own stoneware soap dishes, using handbuilding and slab-making skills. The soap dishes will be fired, glazed, and ready for pickup or shipping two weeks after the workshop.
