Oliver Laxe's latest film is as much a concert film as it is a unique road movie.
Opens Friday. Experience it in 7.1 surround sound! Nominated for two Academy Awards, including Best International Feature and Best Sound, Sirāt takes viewers on a road trip through the Morocco desert as a father, played by Sergi López (Pan's Labyrinth), searches for his missing daughter amid a group of nomadic ravers. Director Oliver Laxe said Sirāt is "not only a film, it is a ceremony. It obliges you to look inside, which is something we don't usually do." Hear it the way the filmmakers intended with the Crandell's new sound system.
