Simple Garter Cowl Class

2-part program led by Jaya Srikrishnan will teach this free workshop on making a simple garter cowl design. The skills you will learn are: a provisional CO using a crochet chain place beads on a knitted stitch (optional) track pattern rows read your knitting read a chart or knitted instructions to graft garter stitch (also called a Kitchener stitch) Please bring the following materials; 150-450yds DK weight yarn--great project for leftovers; CYC 3 size yarn US size 7 needle circular or straight needle (circular needle length irrelevant) smooth scrap yarn for provisional CO crochet hook equal to or bigger than the US 7 knitting needle (4.5mm) 10 gms size 8 round seed beads (optional0-verify that they fit on a doubled length of your yarn. a tight fit is okay stitch marker, tapestry needle, scissors, and paper and pen for notes
