Sebastien Caquard: Mapping Life Stories of Rwandan Refugees in Canada: A Cartographic Reading of Exile

This presentation explores the mapping of the life stories of Rwandan refugees in Canada, and considers some of the main methodological, ethical, technological, and theoretical challenges of the process. In doing so, it reflects on the intellectual journey that led to the development of Atlascine, an open source online cartographic application dedicated to (life) story mapping.
