On Saturday, November 16th at 1 pm the David M. Hunt Library will present Schaghticoke: Stories of Survival with the Institute for American Indian Studies. In this presentation, led by Educational Outreach Ambassador Darlene Kascak, of the Schaghticoke Tribal Nation, participants will be immersed in the lifeways of the Schaghticoke People in the past and present day. Learn about how these Eastern Woodlands Natives adapted in order to survive the changes from colonization by working together for the sake of the community and innovation through knowledge of their natural resources. This program is free and open to the public.
