Salsa y Plena: CUBORICUA with dancer

It's Salsa y Plena, when we take you to the Caribbean with CUBORICUA, a band whose name is inspired by music of Cuba and Puerto Rico! Dancer CHRISTINE ALICEA will dazzle with authentic costume and moves during her dance interlude. Cuboricua plays salsa, son, rumba, bomba, plena and merengue. The veteran musicians have performed with world-renowned artists such as Celia Cruz, Pete "El Conde" Rodriquez, Eddie Palmieri, Monguito "el unico," and los Kimbos. Cuboricua creates a traditional/modern energetic sound with guitars, vocals, rhythm and brass. They place the interlocking rhythmic figures of percussion and Cuban Tres under a swinging melody.
