Dewey Hall and The Foundry are co-producing a staged reading of Replacing Prancer, a new Christmas play by Tom Truss, from the Berkshires. This marks the first collaboration between the two venues and the world premiere of Truss's first full-length play. Both venues are supporting its development and plan to fully produce it in their 2025-2026 season. The play, aimed at all ages, follows Santa’s reindeer as they race to fix a Christmas crisis before time runs out. Amid personal drama and a ticking clock, they must save Christmas before Mrs. Claus arrives with some harsh truths.
