Poughkeepsie Open Studios: Marián Brek's "At a Different Angle"
Painting under the name "Brek Art", Marián Brek uses a technique that blends elements of abstract, cubism and pop art. Born in Humenne, Slovakia, Brek draws inspiration from his cultural heritage and global experiences. He is a self-taught artist and has spent decades painting. After having showed his work around the world, Curio Cabinet of the Hudson Valley welcomes him to their gallery space for Poughkeepsie Open Studios. Brek Art will be on display until the end of September.
