Tompkins Corners will welcome poet Tony Howarth. Tony will read from his new book, The Griefs that Fate Assigns, a poetic, chronological memoir that begins at age six and is followed by the declaration of war, evacuation out of London, and the upheavals that inevitably occurred, including being brought to America. All leads up to a shattering “moment,” a “surprise,” which will be revealed during the reading.
Following Tony will be an open mic. Registration will be available on-site on the day of the reading. All writers are welcome! Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door.
