Artists of all skill levels are invited to join us for a weekend of painting and sketching the horses, the barns and the landscape of the beautiful Catskills. Painting stations will be set up with unique access to our residents, including a ‘donkey station’, a buckboard and horse in gear, and wild horse viewing. There will also be some ’still life’ displays arranged with farm and equine equipment. We will have equine handlers and staff moving horses from different spots throughout the day, allowing for multiple studies and photo opportunities to support continued studio work based on the weekend efforts.
