One of the most remarkable pianists of his generation in Russia, Pavel Nersessian is known for his ability to play equally convincingly in the whole palette of the piano repertoire. He has been touring Russia and surrounding states from the age of 8, has performed in major cities and halls all over the world, and has won numerous international competition prizes. Upon graduating from the famous Central Music School of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in 1987, he was invited to join the faculty. He has worked as a professor of piano at Boston University since 2013.
