Performance and Talkback: Through the Waves with UpLift Physical Theatre

Weaving a poetic vocabulary of acrobatic movement and storytelling, this award-winning intimate play tells the tale of one woman, lost between the uncharted waters of her grief and the shores of her joyful memories following the disappearance of her soulmate. Following the event, we will host a discussion with the cast of Through the Waves that will address themes of grief and loss, using the body as a tool to express emotion and tell stories, and how physical expression and storytelling can cross boundaries and cultures and create a more inclusive space.
