This panel discussion explores the incidents that made Charles White want to use his paintings as a form of activism, the events that brought him to the larger public, and how he influenced his students to use their art as a form of activism. Topics will also include the history and impact of his work as well as the donation of works to the Blanton Museum to preserve and give White's work greater access to the public.
