Please join the Vassar Conservation and Environmental Engagement Cooperative (VCEE CO-OP) to celebrate the night before Halloween by learning about a nocturnal predator which has commonly been feared as a sign of ill-fortune. This talk, given by Professor Glen Proudfoot on his work with Northern Saw-whet Owls, will take place at the Field Station of the Vassar Farm and Ecological Preserve. Venture out at 7:30 p.m. to learn about topics such as bird banding, blood parasites and the migration patterns of owls.
