In "Face Places", legendary filmmaker Agnes Varda travels through rural France with French photographer and street artist JR, who creates large scale photographic portraits of local residents and installs them as temporary public murals. "Rivers and Tides" documents English artist Andy Goldsworthy’s solitary pursuit of beauty in nature; he creates ephemeral works that endure through photographs and film, as well as large-scale permanent installations like Storm King Wall at Storm King Art Center. Adela Goldsmith, Assistant Curator at Storm King Art Center, will speak about Goldsworthy’s work after the film.
