Opening Reception for 'still, even' paintings by Sean Noonan

Headstone is honored to present, still, even, a solo exhibition of new works by Sean Noonan. This is his first show with the gallery and marks his eighth solo to date. The paintings intercept, disrupt, and sometimes obscure the original, aged surfaces of found wood - from floorboards to shingles. Every work is full of Noonan’s poetic marks and powerful color combinations. still, even showcases his transitional discoveries from paintings to sculptures and back again.
