Opening Reception for Nick Savides: A Retrospective of Paintings

Roost/Union Arts Center is pleased to present Nick Savides: A Retrospective of Paintings, on view July 26 through Oct. 2, 2023, with opening reception on SUNDAY, AUGUST 13th, 12-2PM. Savides is an accomplished artist whose paintings reflect a harmonious blend of tranquility and intensity. Influenced by artists such as Johannes Vermeer and Edward Hopper, Savides strives to capture a sense of time and place in his artwork. Savides earned a fine arts degree from Brandeis University. He has exhibited widely and his work has been featured in prestigious publications and collections. He lives and works in Brooklyn.
