The garden blends several natural features including a rushing stream, native deciduous trees, a rounded knoll and flanking meadows into an ordered arrangement with both formal and informal beauty. In 1997, Ashintully Gardens received the Massachusetts Horticultural Society’s H. Hollis Hunnewell Medal. Following the tour there will be a group discussion about what makes Ashintully great.
