Odissi is a major ancient Indian classical dance which looks like sculptures in motion and originated in the temples of Odisha. Following the Natyashastra, this form is very authentic and classical having spectacular lyrical fluid movements, intricate footwork, vivid hand gestures (mudras), dramaturgy and story telling and above all performed with soul stirring music.
