Rabbi Hecht event for A KABBALAH OF FOOD
It’s said the key to one’s heart is through the stomach; food can also be a pathway to the soul. For this event Rabbi Hecht will talk to Paul Cohen of Monkfish Publishing about his new book, "A Kabbalah of Food," that cooks up a feast of inspiring tales and teachings around food and eating from the Kabbalah, a mystical part of the Torah, which, until the 16th century, was available only in secret to a select few. The book includes the author’s favorite Jewish recipes, traditional and reimagined.
