Revolutionary new-wave goddess Nona Hendryx (“Lady Marmalade”) is joined by an international roster of singers to honor two women born in the same year on different shores: Billie Holiday and Edith Piaf. Though they never met they led parallel lives, and their heartrending loves and lives fed the soulful, singularity of their voices and defined a generation.
