Nicolas Babineau & Alexis Chartrand - Québécois Concert

Nicolas and Alexis are young Québécois musicians brought together by a common passion for traditional music. Their shared sensitivity for recordings of old fiddlers inspires their performances of traditional québécois repertoire. They sometimes play two fiddles and sometimes allow the guitar to accompany the melodies, with their feet energizing the dance tunes! The duo has released two albums, Gigues à deux faces (Best Traditional Album nomination at the Canadian Folk Music Awards) in 2017 and un beau ptit son in 2019, and have performed throughout Québec, Canada, New England, and Sweden.
