Join us at D'Arcy/Simpson Gallery for an opening artist reception for New Work by Ekaterina Vanovskaya. The reception will be held on April 19th, 4-6 PM, and the show will be on view until May 26th, Fridays-Mondays, 12-5 PM or by appointment. "How does our past impact our emotions, responses and ways of being? Perceptions of our childhood define the way we live our lives today. Painting serves as reconciliation with the self. When I paint it is as if I am painting about a secret that nobody else knows." -Ekaterina Vanovskaya
