Music in the Annex: Carol & Nick Duo featuring Dan Furman

Carol Leven and Nick Moran, known as “The small band with the big sound,” their rich layered, swinging music employs seven-string guitar, live looper, percussion and vocals. They perform a wide range of staples from the Great American Songbook to Burt Bacharach, from the Bossa Nova to subtle ballads. Dan Furman is a graduate of Oberlin Conservatory, where he studied composition and jazz piano. He is a founder of the Brooklyn Tavern Theater. He plays extensively in NYC clubs, theater and cabaret venues.
