The Hudson River Consort performs two Mozart viola quintets, K 511 in C major and K 516 in G minor. Daniel Lee & Emily Hale, violins; Alissa Smith & Scot Moore, violas; and Christine Gummere, cello. Mozart's six viola quintets are rarely heard, although five of the six are late works, written when he was at the peak of his powers as a composer.
