Patterson Library’s second movie selection for May is The Last Rifleman. We are starting our movies at 12 noon and inviting those who wish to discuss the film to stay after the screening. Artie Crawford, an elderly Irishman in a care home, secretly embarks on a journey to France for the 75th D-Day anniversary, stirring panic and concern among those who care for him. Loosely inspired by a true World War II veteran’s story, this British drama follows his quest for peace with the past. Starring Pierce Brosnan, Clémence Poésy, John Amos, Ian McElhinney. Rated Pg-13. Adults 18+
