Patterson Library’s second movie selection for April is Peace By Chocolate. We are starting our movies at 12 noon and inviting those who wish to discuss the film to stay after the screening. This film is based on the true story of the Hadhad family, Syrian refugees who resettled in Canada. The film follows a son torn between his dream of becoming a doctor and his father’s determination to rebuild their chocolate business. Their struggle gives rise to Peace By Chocolate, a renowned artisanal chocolate shop. Starring: Hatem Ali, Ayham Abou Ammar, Yara Sabri. Rated PG-13 Adults 18+
