What are the images or physical properties that guide how we move? In this class series, we will begin each class with a combination of guided improvisation and specific movement explorations using some of the metaphors of Gaga movement language and circular and spiraling patterns practiced in qigong and contemporary dance. The second half of class will be dedicated to experimenting with creating entryways into our unique and preferred styles of movement through the practice of scoring.
