In our first live concert since March, the Mississippi Travelers will be driving Mississippi fiddle tunes and songs, both new and old, with reckless abandon on the lawn at Tompkins Corners Cultural Center.
You will hear tunes with a touch of the blues, songs of longing and loss, and just plain quirky pieces with names like, “Who’s Been Giving You Corn?,” “Sweet Milk and Peaches,” and “Tequila Hop Blues.”
Led by Harry Bolick on fiddle and vocals, with Brian Slattery, Jaques DiCroce, and Charlie Barefoot Shaw.
Social distancing protocols will be followed and masks required, with donations gratefully accepted.
