Mike Nielsen, newcomer to Rosendale from Delaware, is the essence of “late bloomer.” After mucking about with guitar and piano for thirty years, he found his musical voice with the Celtic harp in 1994 after hearing Derek Bell of the Chieftains perform. His music consists of traditional Irish and Scottish tunes blended with his own “Celtish" originals. His recorded music is up on Soundcloud here:
