Director Jon Bowermaster will lead a discussion and Q&A after a screening of his documentary film about John Lipscomb, one of more than 300 “Keepers” around the globe, looking out for their respective rivers.
In The Keeper, dedicated boat captain Lipscomb and his dog patrol the Hudson River, monitoring environmental concerns after decades of industrial damage. Despite improvements, their mission reveals ongoing challenges to this historic waterway's ecosystem.
