Join us for an afternoon of chamber repertoire performed by the pre-college musicians of the Lyra Music Young Artist Performance Program. This concert will be followed by a reception with an opportunity to meet the young artists. PROGRAM including works by Beethoven, Coleridge-Taylor, Mendelssohn, Schubert, Clara Schumann, and Turina. ABOUT: The Lyra Music Festival is an outstanding series of summer classical music events based in Beacon, NY and the surrounding Hudson Valley. Each summer Lyra brings together world class musicians, outstanding young string players and pianists, and an exceptional faculty of professional musician-educators for concerts, masterclasses, and outreach performances.
