Lucy Dacus has spent the last decade establishing herself as one of indie rock's most gifted songwriters, turning intimate observations into songs of remarkable emotional depth. The Virginia native first gained attention with her 2016 debut No Burden before earning widespread acclaim for Historian and Home Video, albums that paired literate lyrics with understated, guitar-driven arrangements. In 2023, Dacus reached a much broader audience as one-third of the Grammy-winning supergroup boygenius alongside Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker, cementing her place among the defining voices of her generation.

Her latest solo album, Forever Is a Feeling, expands her sonic palette while retaining the emotional precision that has become her hallmark. The record topped Billboard's Rock and Folk/Americana charts, and its accompanying tour has sold out iconic venues including Radio City Music Hall and Red Rocks. With a new standalone single, "Planting Tomatoes," released this year, Dacus continues to balance quiet introspection with sweeping indie-rock catharsis, delivering performances that are as thoughtful as they are powerful.
