Photographer Jimmy Marseille shines the light on the love and intimacy black people have for each other in his exhibit Love & Intimacy. From a social concern, the artist feels that black people are often not seen as beautiful or are portrayed as being angry or violent, especially black males. By showcasing the beauty and tenderness of black love, he hopes to open new perceptions from the grotesque stereotypes that still affront us in books, motion pictures, newspapers and social media today.
