Local Film “Bird Sanctuary” Screening at Rosendale Theatre – April 24th

Local Film “Bird Sanctuary”is screening at the Rosendale Theatre on April 24th, at 7pm. There will be a post-show Q&A with the cast and crew. Filmed over several years, primarily in New Paltz, Bird Sanctuary follows a group of friends through the latter years of their adolescence. Cinematographer Alex Young and Writer/Director Myles Flusser met when they were seven years old, and their shared history informs the film's deeply personal story. Set against the majestic Hudson Valley landscapes of their childhood, Bird Sanctuary unfolds as an epic coming-of-age tale exploring grief, addiction, and the passage of time.
