All are invited! Experimental musicians Victoria Shen and Mariam Rezaei are redefining the possibilities of sound through radical turntablism and sonic invention. In this electrifying concert of new music, set within the intimate high-resolution environment of EMPAC Studio 1, Shen and Rezaei push the boundaries of the turntable using unorthodox objects, DIY electronics, and virtuosic gesture. Their raw, visceral textures challenge our ideas of music and meaning. Rather than relying on traditional melody or harmony, the artists conjure music through movement, intensity, and disruption.
